シリコンバレーの巨大企業に対する最後のそのような裁判として、2001年の司法省によるMicrosoftへの裁判の影が大きく迫っています。一部では、この裁判がMicrosoftと”韻を踏んでいる”とさえ言われています。

両方の裁判は、企業がハードウェアメーカーと結んだ契約に焦点を当てています。Microsoftの場合、それはブラウザであるInternet Explorerでした。Googleの場合、それは検索エンジンです。
